Focus! Festival 2018 | China Today: A Festival of Chinese Composition

Juilliard's acclaimed Focus! festival returns for its 34th season featuring a series of six free concerts exploring the music of composers in China, including seven new commissions by Chinese composers born after 1980.   

Violinist Max Tan and pianist Rieko Tsuchida will perform the presumed U.S. Premiere of SANG TONG Night Scenery (1947), one of the first twelve-tone compositions written by a Chinese composer.
