The organ in Henry Le Bœuf Hall was completed by Joseph Stevens, an organ builder from Duffel. This new instrument was designed to “play anything.” According to the Belgian composer and organist Paul de Maleingreau, “Stevens’ organ enhances the national Centre for Fine Arts edifice and is a tribute to the craftsmanship of a country whose builders once provided the sound palette for the Dutch masters, direct ancestors of J.S. Bach.” More information on the history of BOZAR and its organ instruments can be found on their website at bozar.be.
